From October 23 to 24, 2019, Syngenta IP expert Filip paid a visit to SSARD for attending a symposium and giving a training on IPR protection.
Zhou Jingmei, Executive Director of SSARD, and other leaders, together with leaders of Syngenta (China), ADAMA, Yangnong Chemical, Sinochem Crop Care, Shenyang Sciencreat, etc., attended the symposium, and had an in-depth discussion on how to carry out IP cooperation in the future.
During the one-and-a-half day training on IPR protection, Mr. Filip gave a systematic lecture for SSARD's employees and some of the above leaders from multiple perspectives and different levels, including the purpose of patent application, the must-do work before application, preparation of application materials, cost saving for patent application, build-up of patent portfolio for one compound, etc. Participants also brought up questions on their doubts or concerns in compound, technology, crystal form or PCT patents, and Filip answered the questions and shared his experience in the relevant aspects.
The IP symposium and training contributed to improving the Company’s IPR protection and relevant management work.
