Since Shenyang Institute was enrolled into Sinochem Group in 2007, the R&D emphasis has been laid on the agrochemical industry in the group providing technical support. Since it joined Sinochem International Corporation in 2016, it has formally become the subsidiary, and was renamed as “Shenyang Sinochem Agrochemicals R&D Co., Ltd.” It will adhere to the vision of Sinochem International: fine chemistry and green life. Serve for the agrochemical field.

Over the 10 years, it has steadily developed the pesticide study, successfully discovered and copied 22 active compounds, and has realized full industrialization. It undertook 20 national key scientific and technological projects during the “10th Five-Year Plan” and 8 national scientific and technological support programs during the “11th Five-Year Plan”, and all were accepted smoothly.

In late 1980s, under the extremely difficult conditions, the discovery of novel pesticide started and began to take shape. Over 10 years’ development, it gradually expanded and pioneered the discovery of novel pesticide in China.

Pesticide study started from 1950s, and the research infrastructure was improved gradually after construction during the 1960s-1970s. 1980s is the era of pesticide copying new variety professionally and intensively, and during that period, over 70 scientific research achievements have been developed, so as to lay a solid foundation for the production of Chinese pesticide industry and adjustment of product structure.
