The founding meeting of the Pesticide Bioassay Professional Committee, China Association of Pesticide Development & Application was held in Shenyang on January 19, 2018 Hua Rongjun, the Secretary General of China Association of Pesticide Development & Application attended and hosted the meeting, and Kang Zhuo, the President of Liaoning Crop Protection Industry Association, Meng Wei, the Assistant Station Master of Liaoning Plant Protection Station, Liu Junli, Director of Bioassay R&D Department of Shenyang Sinochem Agrochemicals R&D Co., Ltd. and the members of the professional committee attended the meeting.

Hua Rongjun, the Secretary General of China Association of Pesticide Development & Application introduced the founding background, raising process of the Pesticide Bioassay Committee and management measures of the association branch; elaborated the original intention and real intention of building a sharing technology platform for pesticide R&D production and green ecological agriculture; and expected the Pesticide Bioassay Professional Committee to undertake the important mission of leading national pesticide biological activity evaluation and application research development, and convoy for healthy development of pesticide.

The meeting elected Liu Junli, Director of Bioassay R&D Department of Shenyang Sinochem Agrochemicals R&D Co., Ltd. as the Chairman of the Bioassay Professional Committee. Director Liu Junli said, the Bioassay Professional Committee would not dishonor the important mission, integrate resources, extract technologies, drive the bioassay discipline to develop and provide good service for the enterprises; establish and perfect pesticide biological activity screening and evaluation standards, help promote operation of “indoor pesticide biological activity test operation standards” and “pesticide field efficacy test GEP system”, so as to make all reasonable efforts for industry development.
